Condition

The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks throughout. There were some liftings to the veneer especially on the front. They have been restored. A vertical shrinkage crack runs through a lateral side. A few minor shrinkage cracks on the other lateral side. A few minor scratches to the veneer at the lower side of the front (visible on the illustration). Both noses of the Egyptian figures are rubbed. A small minor loss to a lateral side of an Egyptian head. A chip has been restored to a front corner of the marble top. A small minor chip to a corner at the rear of the top. Very elegant piece of furniture.

Catalogue Note
