le cadran inscrit A PARIS, surmonté d'un toit de chaume à double pente abritant un dindon et deux béliers, soutenu par des troncs d'arbre dont les branches supportent des coqs, au-dessus de deux béliers affrontés ; le socle décoré d'une frise de lapins et rochers, sur une base de marbre campan vert
Condition
Illustration is slightly too reddish; it looks actually more yellow.
Gilding with little wear. Few small chips to the marble base.
One giltbronze branch with some loose. Fine chasing.
Swiss movement striking the quarters on two bells, the cadrature mounted on the backplate, silk suspension. Dial in good condition. Movement complete but needs a clean, suspension broken. With replaced pendulum and a winder.
Unusual model, charming clock with lovely details in good overall condition.
