Condition
The illustration is accurate.
Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks throughout due to age and use.
The gilding is original and slightly tarnished.
The green marble base has been restored at the back.
A minor minute crack on the dial.
With pendulum. Please note that we do not guarranty the working of the mechanism which has to be revised by a clock professional.

Une pendule similaire munie d'un cadran signé de Belle à Paris, fut vendue chez Christie's à New York, le 29 septembre 1990, lot 290.
Une autre est illustrée dans les Albums Maciet, N. 352 "Pendule", conservé à la bibliothèque du Musée des Arts décoratifs de Paris. Elle y était photographiée dans l'hôtel de Beauharnais en 1908.
