The necklace composed of 15 cube-shaped citrine beads, spaced by twisted gold beads, length 15½ inches, signed Marina B, numbered 7102289; the earclips of similar design, composed of four cube-shaped citrine beads, signed Marina B.
Condition
In good condition overall with very minor surface scratching to the gold. The citrines are a transparent medium-light yellow-orange; slightly more muted in color than indicated by the printed catalogue illustration. Chipping to the bead holes due to wear, but not apparent when worn. Otherwise generally eye-clean. Necklace also has maker's marks and Italian registry marks. Earclips numbered 73C3491 and also with Italian registry marks and maker's marks. A similar necklace and earclip suite is illustrated in Marina B: The Art of Jewellery Design by Viviane Jutheau de Witt, p. 89.
