The bracelet set with numerous seed pearls, the clasp accented by numerous single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .40 carat, length 7 inches; the earrings of fringe design composed of nine strands of seed pearls, accented by numerous single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .60 carat, one strand missing; the choker composed of numerous seed pearls, set at intervals with numerous single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.75 carats, length 13 inches; the detachable pendant of fringe design, set with numerous seed pearls, accented by numerous old European, single and rose-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 9.50 carats, length 7 inches, bottom portion of pendant detachable, the removable top measures 2½ inches, bottom portion signed Cartier Paris.
Condition
In fair to good condition commensurate with age. The seed pearls vary from round to off-round, all are silvery white. BRACELET: Fully intact and completed by a safety chain. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VS-SI clarity. EARRINGS: One strand of seed pearls is missing (the strand is present in the catalogue illustration). The diamonds are approximately K-M color, SI clarity. Fitted with screw backs. CHOKER: The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. Fitted with a safety chain. Two of the diamond spacers are fitted with grooves in order to attach the pendant. PENDANT: The pendant comes apart in two different ways, the pearl connectors come off and the lower part of the pendant detaches. The diamonds are approximately H-L color, VS-SI clarity. Signed Cartier on the side of the center circular motif.
