The necklace comprised of open links pavé-set with single and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 37.85 carats, accented by oval cabochon emeralds weighing approximately 32.00 carats, length 27½ inches, converts into four bracelets lengths 7½, 6¼, 6⅜ and 6⅛ inches, with additional clasp fitting, one diamond missing, supporting a pendant set with an emerald-cut emerald weighing approximately 46.00 carats, framed by baguette, square, old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 6.25 carats, together with a detachable pendant fitting and brooch fitting, the pendant fitting set with a square-cut diamond and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately .50 carat, one diamond missing. With a box for four bracelets monogrammed E.K.S.
Condition
In good condition overall. The primary emerald is a watery, medium-light bluish green and heavily included but with minimal surface-reaching inclusions; the faceting to the pavilion creates a "window" at the center, as indicated by the catalogue illustration. The cabochon emeralds are medium, slightly bluish green and moderately to heavily included. Diamonds are approximately H-J color and VS-SI clarity. One diamond missing at the top of the pendant bail. The chainlink segments are numbered: 1; 1 and 2; 2 and 3; 5; 5 and 6. Each clasp fitted with safety closures.
