The first necklace composed of 27 amethyst beads measuring approximately 12.2 to 14.0 mm, the clasp centered by an oval cabochon amethyst measuring approximately 40.2 by 32.7 mm, further set with faceted citrine beads and cabochon citrines, length 17 inches; the second necklace composed of 50 coral beads measuring approximately 12.8 to 13.4 mm, spaced at intervals by gold rondelles, length 28 inches.

Condition

Both pieces in fair condition. The coral beads are a salmon-pink color, each with striations of darker peach hues, but are well-matched for color. Some of the beads exhibit significant cracking. The clasp is completed by a Chinese character and fitted with a safety closure. The translucent amethyst beads are deep purple, heavily included with some exhibiting significant surface scratching and pitting. The richly saturated purple amethyst cabochon is moderately to heavily included with moderate color zoning. The citrine beads and cabocohons present varying shades orange-yellow; the beads are moderately included, the cabochons and are lightly included.
