The locket set with a carved hardstone cameo depicting a portrait bust of Julius Caesar, within a highly ornate gold frame and surmount applied with blue and white enamel, the reverse with glazed compartment; the earrings set with carved hardstone cameos, the first depicting Cleopatra with an asp at her breast, the second depicting Cleopatra with a stab wound and knife at her breast, both within highly ornate gold frames and surmounts applied with white and blue enamel, earring backs with modern replacements. With fitted box.
Condition
Very nice detail and workmanship on all three cameos. Very slight losses to enamel. Pendant with scratch number SH19024 partially tucked beneath the glazed compartment. In good condition overall.
