The double-strand necklace composed of cultured pearls measuring approximately 9.9 to 9.4 mm., completed by a clasp set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 11.50 carats, framed by old European-cut and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.60 carats, length 18½ inches, Austrian assay mark.
Condition
Comprised of 84 cultured pearls; they are a creamy white with soft pastel overtones, moderate blemishing and wrinkling to the skin with a satin-like luster. The cushion-shaped sapphire is a medium violetish blue with eye-clean clarity and the 64 diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. The clasp is fitted with a safety catch.
