Condition

Overall good restored condition; refinished; seat rails with some old worm damage consistent with age; five drop in seats replaced; chair 'VIII' with small loss to moulding of shoe at left side of splat; chair 'V' with replaced shoe and lacking back right corner block; chair 'V V' with replaced shoe; chair 'IIII' lacking original support blocks to brackets of front legs; please note the 18th century chairs are sturdy and solid; the seat aprons with a number of age cracks and patches to the veneers especially above front legs; the 20th century reproductions nicely carved, well made, and match closely to the 18th century chairs.
