shaped rectangular, with molded shell and scroll border, the surface partially flat-chased with strapwork, shells and panels of diaper, fitted with three wells for a baluster form inkwell and sander both engraved with elongated leaves, raised on four shaped bracket feet; fitted with a slightly later bell
