the oval body with gadrooned lower body and applied on the underside with a flowerhead, raised on four scroll supports headed by and terminating in acanthus leaves, engraved on both sides in rococo cartouches flanked by sprays of flowers and with reeded loop handles springing from lion heads and topped by shells flanked by leafy foliage, the conforming stepped domed cover crested, supported on an oval stand with gadrooned border terminating at ends in large leaf-tips and scrolls, the raised center mounted with a mirror, crested to match

The arms are probably those of a later descendant of Robert Hyde Greg (1795- 1875) of Coles Park and Norcliffe Hall, co. Chester.
