  • 14.3 cm
each painted on either side of the ovoid body with various birds or courtly figures in a landscape and with insects around the neck and stem, affixed on either side with a rush-formed handle issuing flowering branches and fruit, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue.

Condition

Some minor occasional chips and losses to the edges of the leaves, flowers or fruit. All in generally good condition, except: One vase has both handles broken off and restored back. There is a starcrack to the body on one side of the body extending from a bruise in the center about an inch downwards in two directions and extending upwards in two directions, one crack curving on the shoulder beneath the neck, forking and continuing to the applied flowers near the handle. Another vase has one handle broken off and restored back.
