Description

  • Silver, African Elephant Ivory
  • length of tray over handles 25 3/4 in., height of kettle on lampstand 10 1/2 in.

Blossom pattern, designed by Georg Jensen in 1905, comprising: Teapot, Coffee Pot, Kettle on Lampstand, Chocolate Pot, small Hot Milk Jug, Creamer, covered Sugar Bowl, large oval Tray, and small oval Tray. Together with matching sugar tongs, 10 pieces, each ovoid on three scroll supports and with ivory handles at right angles to spouts, the lift-off covers with fully modeled flower blossom and beaded tendril finial, the two-handled oval trays with conforming openwork blossom handles. 

Condition

trays with some light scratches from use, ivory with some age cracks but stable, overall very good condition
