Condition

Stiff and brittle foundation in areas with small slits along edges. Pile ranges from closely sheared 1/8" with large areas of wear low to knotheads and foundation. Very center of carpet in the best pile. A 4x3" reweave and a 4x3" patch in the center right of the medallion. Mottled coloring in the spandrels, most likely due to overtinting of the original coloring. Very dirty, scattered stains. 2x2" repaired hole in upper right corner. Sides later overcast, with losses and breaking in areas. Uneven outer end guard borders now secured with blanket stitch. Will enhance with cleaning and restoration.
