oval with straight sides and beaded borders, the sides bright-cut and engraved with floral swags and festoons centered on both sides with oval reserves enclosing arms and a crest, domed cover engraved with swags and beads and topped by an urn finial, base engraved O/I*E, 1791

Condition

cover doesn't close tightly because lock missing, dent to base at one end, three small dings to cover above hinge but not through, finial pushed down into cover, otherwise good
