the shaped oval dishes applied with fluted and gadrooned rims and ruffled shell handles, crested on one side, the conforming flat-domed cover with slip-lock finials formed as twisted leaf-capped branches springing from leafy acanthus, engraved with contemporary arms under a foliate mantle and matching crest

scratches to interiors from use, marks a little rubbed-- especially date letter; slight wear to applied decoration on covers, overall good condition
