A paper label attached to the backing states: This was given to me by the Kappa Alpha Thetas in the Fall of 1980- after I did the loan exhibit at their Antiques Show- consisting of 43 silk embroideries; gave a lecture for the Forum, and wrote an article for their catalogue.
