Comprising 17 pages worked in red silk on wool divided by paper. The volume leather-bound with tooled edge. Some discoloration of wool; overall condition is very good.

Catalogue Note

Nine pages of embroidered lettering give the order of occupations, and seven pages have miniature examples of plain sewing glued to paper, ending with a marking sampler. Many of the tiny samplers found today were probably removed from plain sewing sampler books.
