Like many memorials worked at Saint Joseph's Academy in the 1820s, Susan Creamer's embroidery has a painted background depicting Mount Saint Mary's College for Catholic men on the hillside
at left, and on the right, the academy's first buildings: Saint Joseph's House of 1810, and Dubois Hall of 1826.
