Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Chopard booklet and presentation case.

Dr. Daniels was presented with this chronograph as a souvenir for participating in the 1990 Mille Miglia race.
The Mille Miglia was an open-road endurance race which took place in Italy from 1927 to 1957. After two fatal crashes the event was banned but resumed from 1958 to 1961 as a rally-like round trip but this was also discontinued. Since 1977 the name was revived as the Mille Miglia Storica, a parade for pre-1957 car which takes place over several days. In 1982 the Mille Miglia endurance race was resumed as a road rally event.
