The movement is running but need cleaning. Dial in good condition. Case in good condition with light scuffs.

Catalogue Note
In the early 1890's Danish watchmaker Bahne Bonniksen, working in Coventry, England, developed the karrusel escapement. Patented in 1893 (English Patent No. 21421) the escapement turns more slowly therefore making it less fragile and subject to less wear. Bonniksen described his invention as follows: 'a watch as robust as any ordinary English watch and nearly as precise as an astronomic regulator or a marine chronometer'.
