  • ivory, diamond, enamel, gold
Comprising: a ring set to the centre with an oval portrait miniature on ivory, French, circa 1770 within a frame of circular-cut diamonds and set onto a purple enamel background, circa 1800, one diamond deficent, shank split; a gold bell inscribed D'Auvergne De La Tour, RL ES C HA, circa 1900; together with a crucifix, French assay marks.

Condition

Ring: Portrait miniature, fine, probably French, circa 1770. Shank split, scratches and indentations to mount consistent with age and wear. Glass to miniature with scratches and nicks. Diamonds bright and lively, one diamond deficient, enamel with scratches and nicks, chip to one edge. Bell: Scratches and large indentation. Bell clapper allowing bell to sound. Crucifix: stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Possibly early 20th century. Scratches and indentations consistent with wear.
