Condition

Uneven pile, 2mm and down to knot-bars in areas in top right and left quadrants. The structure is probably week. Evidence of cracking. There is a rewoven area in the centre, within which there are three further small patches of different colour - red, in the lower left quadrant, one against the side edge. There is a small split in the centre. There is some discolouration and irregularity of colour in areas of the pink ground. The carpet has a cotton backing which appears to have been glued. Overlocked cotton fringes at both ends. This carpet is dirty and would benefit from a clean. EMBARGO ON IMPORTATION OF PERSIAN/IRANIAN WORKS OF ART TO THE USA.
