Description

  • gilt-bronze, brass, mahogany, oak, leather
  • 75cm. high, 146cm. wide, 73.5cm. deep; 2ft. 5½in., 4ft. 9½in., 2ft. 5in.
possibly after designs by Emilio Terry, with a rectangular top with projecting angles inset with a tooled leather writing surface above three frieze drawers with raised panels inlaid with star motifs, with similarly inlaid sides on square tapering legs terminating in gilt-bronze sabots, the underside bearing the stamp I Dubois, B Molitor and the initials BDF and  the inventory number in black ink No23.

Condition

In overall very good condition. Old very minor chips and scratches commensurate with age and use.
