Description
- gilt-bronze
- each 28.5cm. high; 11¼in., the second pair each 11cm. high; 4¼in.
with two addorsed Egyptian female heads above a spirally fluted tapering stem on a circular acanthus leaf cast base within a berried laurel border together with a pair of gilt-bronze candlesticks, Louis XVI, late 18th century, each in the form of a ribbon-tied ribbed truncated column on a circular leaf cast base
Condition
Both pairs in overall good condition. The smaller pair has very minor tarnishing to gilt-bronze. There is a casting flaw where the column meets the base together with a small casting flaw on the base.
