Describing celebrations to mark the wedding of Carlo Emanuele III (1701-1773), Duke of Savoy and King of Sardinia, and Elizabeth Therese (1711-1741) of Lorraine, in Turin, 21 April 1737. One plate shows a crowd gathering at the Royal Pavilion to view the Turin Shroud, which is also briefly mentioned in the text.
