  • small sofa 77cm. high, 102cm. wide, 62cm. deep; 2ft 6¼in., 3ft. 4¼in., 2ft. ½in.
each with a curved padded back above outscrolled padded arms, with a loose cushion seat and further cushion, the side and seat-rails in the form of ribbon-tied lotus leaf carved reeds on tapering baluster front legs and sabre back legs on brass castors; one armchair with a reading tray (support missing), the cotton printed floral upholstery, together with four matching curtains and four gilt metal acorn finials together with a French upholstered small sofa, late 19th century, with a rectangular button upholstered back above buttoned padded seat on giltwood legs terminating in wooden castors

Condition

In overall good condition. Joints sound and sturdy, old minor marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Some water staining to the tray, pole missing. Curtains: Lined (with some stains) and with hoops across the pleated top for hanging: Measurements: One 148cm across the top (lightened on left side and with some wear), 292cm. drop; another 140cm. across the top, 292cm. drop ((lightened on right side and with some wear); Two: 118 across the top, 292cm. drop. Otherwise fair condition. Four later gilt metal acorn finials in good condition. (There are no poles) Small sofa - In overall good condition. The upholstery is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There is a small area of wear to the top right corner of the back. There are some buttons missing from the button seat.
