- gold, citrine
Comprising: a necklace, a pair of bracelets, pair of pendent earrings, three hair ornaments and a brooch; set with variously shaped faceted citrines between scroll and floral repoussé work motifs, necklace length approximately 450mm, bracelet lengths approximately 185mm, later brooch fittings to each citrine set clasp, earrings with later post and clip fittings, hair ornaments each with two prong hair pins, together with original brown gilt tooled fitted case.
Condition
Signs of repair to several pieces. Pieces have been altered over the lifetime of the jewels. This parure of jewels is possibly assembled of several jewels of a simlilar period. Two citrines deficient, one from a bracelet and the other from a hair ornament.
Clasps to each bracelet and necklace secure. Some areas of tarnish. Very delicate piece. Splendid case, with some scuffs and nicks, edges bruised, slight tears to silk interior. In overall good condition.
