Description

Comprising: a brooch designed as the head of a dog with onyx eyes, the nose and tongue decorated with enamel, further accented with calibré-cut rubies and rose diamonds, late 19th century, together with a circular open work brooch, set with an oval cabochon ruby, highlighted with cushion-shaped, circular-cut and rose diamonds, 56 standard Zolotnik mark for Moscow, circa 1908-1917.

Condition

Dog brooch: diamonds bright and lively. Rubies light purplish red, well matched in colour. Enamel in good condition. Tarnished. Circular brooch: diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 4.00-5.00 carats, estimated colour L/M, estimated clarity I. Ruby purplish red. Secure catch to pin. Tarnished. Both items are in good condition.
