The rectangular case of carved agate, inset to the front with an oval engraved rock crystal intaglio depicting a scene of two maidens, within a border of calibré-cut sapphires, the hinges and clasp applied with similarly cut sapphires and rose diamonds, measuring approximately 85 x 60 x 25mm, French assay marks.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Sapphires dark blue, well matched in colour. Diamonds bright and lively. Agate chalcedony translucent, brownish tint, banded. In good condition.
