Description

Set to the centre with a step-cut pink sapphire to a shank of carved chalcedony, size M½, French assay and partial maker's marks.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Indistinct maker's marks. Pink sapphire measuring approximately 12.3 x 10.3 x 7.0 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 9.58 carats, intense pink, typical inclusions, such as finger prints, visible under magnification and to naked eye. Chalcedony of white tint, milky appearance. Light scratches to mount. In good condition.
