One with an old paper label inscribed No. 123/4. Each chair stamped with a Roman numeral to the inside edge of the backside rail.

Condition

Overall very good condition; the chairs sturdy; each with later corner blocks; chair (III) with old repaired breaks to cresting rail at joins at tops of stiles with some minor inpainting and infilling; the splat appears to be in good condition; formerly fitted with castors; the chairs very nicely carved with lovely proportions and good color.
