after the 18th-century model by Johann Joachim Kändler, modelled standing on a high waisted and canted rectangular base, holding a pug in her arm and another peeping out from under her skirt, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, painter's mark 31 in red script.

Condition

There is an approximate 1/4-inch flat chip to the underside edge of her shirt at the back, not visible from the exterior. There is a miniscule chip to the upper edge of the base and a 1/8-inch chip to the lower edge of the base. Otherwise in generally good condition.
