modelled by Johann Peter Melchior as a Chinese family picking fruit from an exotic tree, crowned CT mark over three dots in underglaze-blue, incised W No 3.
Condition
The exotic tree has the tips of three of its leaves broken off and restored back with the restored areas measuring 1/2 to 1-1/2 inches long; the restoration is old and discolored.
There is a firing-related crack to the left shoulder of the standing male figure. There is a tiny chip to the brim of the standing male figure's hat. There is a firing-related flaw just below his right knee, where the moulds would probably have been connected.
The child behind to his left has restoration to his upper body beneath his head; it is possible that the figure's head has been off and restored back; the restoration is old and discolored. He has an approximate 1/4-inch chip to the edge of his hat. The object he was holding in his right hand has been chipped away.
There are two firing-related haircracks to the edge of the base, one approximately measuring 1 inch long and the other, 1/4 inch.
