Overall good condition; mirror plates definitely with age and with some pitting and crystalization consistent with age; appears to retain original gilding which is mostly worn showing bole and gesso; the apron with loss to bottom foliate rocaille tip as seen in illustration; some minor chips and nicks to edges; backboards appear to be original; great proportions; beautifully carved and very dramatic.
