The swan neck broken pediment centering a foliate cartouche above a tablet centered by a pierced shell flanked by acanthus leaves above a beveled mirror plate flanked by fruiting garlands above a shaped serpentine apron.

Condition

Overall very good condition; the gesso in very good condition and with usual minor hairline age cracks; the gilding has been refreshed, but appears to retain some original gilding with nice wear; some minor restoration to the burr walnut veneers; the burr walnut veneer to the upper most pediment possibly replaced; cartouche appears to be original and with nice crackalure to gesso; backboards replaced.
