the circular top with later green leather inset writing surface within a crossbanded edge, the frieze with reeded top edge above four drawers alternating with dummy drawers raised on a ring-turned columnar stem continuing to downswept reeded legs ending in brass-capped casters. One drawer with a printed paper label stamped W. PRIEST'S / Office & Library Furniture Warehouse. / ... etc., each drawer stamped W. PRIEST 17 & 24 WATER ST BLACKFRIARS. Together with an associated glass top.

Condition
Overall good condition; leather lining to top later, but not recently replaced and with a nice surface and faded color; one drawer with later bottom and linings; the frieze with some small chips and losses to veneers and with some minor patches and restorations; two legs with old repaired breaks at join with the stem and now with a plug at join; overall with usual old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises; very nice color and figuring to mahogany to drawer fronts.
