Some very minor moth tracks to open surround.
Sides original, ends with original flatwoven finish in fringes.
Very dense weave, very good overall condition.

Catalogue Note
This carpet was commissioned by Amir Asadollah Alam (1919-1978) as a gift to the present owner and in honor of the longstanding relationship between their two families. Amir Asadollah Alam served as Prime Minister of Iran from 1962 to 1964. He was also Minister of the Royal Court, President of Pahlavi University and Governor of Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
