Artist's inscriptions:
(1) Chanting poems, seated secluded on a rock by a stream. Amidst bamboos, looking long at mountains beyond. Baiyun waishi.
(2) Frosty stalks and stone cliff, after Liuru jushi (Tang Yin, 1470-1523).
(3) Waterfall over cliff with pines.
(4) Sky-scraping tree.
(5) After Yang Bu's original. Shouping.
(6) New shoots from a heavenly cassia. Copied after Wen daizho (Wen Zhengming, 1470-1559). Nantian.
(7) Frosty branches over misty stream. Playfully using Baiyang's (Chen Chun, 1159-1223) method. Shouping.
