signed Xuehong jushi Zhang Yu, dated guichou (1793), the twelfth lunar month, with two seals of the artist, zhang yu and yi zi jing zhi, and twelve collectors' seals, jiang biao zhi yin, jian xia, ling jian ge, jiang biao jing yan, jian xia shen ding jin shi shu hua, cun cheng tang zhen cang hua yin, zi zi sun sun yong bao yong, chun fang zhu ren zhen cang shu hua yin, min zhai zhen wan, tian ming nuo shui zhou, shi zhen zhen cang yin, yi xuan guo yan. Colophons by Jiang Biao (1860-1899), signed Jianxia Jiang Biao, dated renchen (1892) of the Guangxu reign, the second lunar month; Lu Shufan (1868-1926), signed Chunbo Lu Shufan, dated renchen (1892); and Wen Tingshi (1856-1904), signed Pingxiang Wen Tingshi

Jiang Biao: I used to have a leopard cat, wild dogs set on it and killed it. I write this poem out of pity for the thing. Inscribed following a painting of cats by old man Xuehong. The renchen (1892) year of the Guangxu reign, the second lunar month, first day, inscribed by Jianxia Jiang Biao at Jingshi Xizhuan Hutong in Beijing.
