Artist's inscription:
I may not be able to name the important works of other painters, but when it comes to Wu Daozi (active ca. 710-160), I hope I am knowledgeable about the authenticity of his paintings. However, there are very few authentic pieces in the world. For instance, uncle Quan has only collected one or two examples throughout his life, following the advise of second elder brother Shiping.
