of archaic bronze form, the beast crouching on all fours with ferocious head raised looking forward, set with a loop handle suspending a lose ring at the neck and tail, the body hollowed through a small aperture in the tortoise shell-form back and surmounted by a cover, the base inscribed with a seal reading Yongshou zhi bao (Treasure of Eternal Longevity), wood stand

Condition
This censer and cover is in good condition, but has several small chips to the rim. There are also several flaws running through the body and legs.
