Description

  • jade, ivory and coral
comprising a pebble-form white and russet jade snuff bottle carved with a bat flying amongst gnarled leafy branches, with a coral stopper; a pale celadon snuff bottle in the form of a ribbon-tied sack carved with a bat; and a pebble-form pale green snuff bottle carved with a chilong

Provenance

Acquired in the UK, circa 1958-1963.

Condition

the ribbon-tied bottle may have been re-worked to the lower section of one side and carved with a bat. The other two bottles are in good condition.
