  • cloisonne enamel
the rounded sides rising from a spreading foot to a gently flared rim, the exterior brightly decorated with two dragons striding above foaming waves in pursuit of flaming pearls amongst clouds, all framed by a floral scroll above and a lappet band below, the base with a lotus medallion and the interior left plain

Condition

There is restoration to the turquoise ground surrounding the lower are of the body of the yellow dragon. There is also a restored dent above its head. There is also an area of restoration to the turquise ground next to the tail of the dark blue dragon. There has been some slight repair to the enamel and re-gilding to the rim.There is also some rubbing to the gilding to the rim and to the footrim. There is also a small area of enamel repair to teh one side of the exterior base.
