the pear-shaped body rising from a short straight foot to a wide flaring trumpet mouth, gilt-decorated around the exterior with flower scrolls above a lotus-lappet band, all reserved on a rich coral-red ground, the base with underglaze blue six-character mark within a white rectangle reserved on a turquoise ground

This vase is in good condition, but does have various areas of wear to the gilded design. There is also rubbing and cracking to the gilding at the rim and some wear to the coral enamel at the foot.
