Description

  • porcelain
the rounded sides rising from a tapering foot to a wide everted rim, applied overall with a pale egg-yolk yellow glaze stopping neatly at the foot, the base left unglazed

Sotheby's London, 18th November 1998, lot 961.

Condition

The dish is in very good condition with the exception of extensive surface scratches and minor glaze firing imperfections such as burst glaze bubbles and iron spots. The base is slightly misfired with buff-orange spots and mottled iron-spots.
