finely carved and pierced with a pair of deer beneath a leafy tree, one deer standing four-square on rockwork issuing lingzhi, the other recumbent, all mounted in a later openwork wood table screen and stand
Condition
The plaque has a 5cm., wide crescent-shaped break to the right side, with associated restoration and small area of replaced stone and a 3mm., wide V-shaped nick to the edge of the top left side.
