the large fruit naturalistically carved with curly tendrils, hollowed in the middle to form the receptacle, borne on a gnarled leafy stem issuing a smaller attendant fruit and lingzhi sprays at the side, the stone of a greyish celadon tone with russet veining
Provenance
Collection of James Broun Ramsay, 1st Marquess of Dalhousie and Governor General of India in 1848 -1856.
Condition
The finger citron is in excellent condition with the exception of minor nicks along the edges and natural flaws of the stone.
