each cast seated in dyanasana on a lotus base raised on a hexagonal pedestal, wearing long robes and elaborate beaded necklace, surmounted by a crown with the image of Amitabha, one depicted with hands held in vitarkamudra supporting a vase, the other with eighteen arms holding various ritual attributes
Condition
Both figures and stands possibly matched and both with rubbing to gilding and surface wear.
From left to right as per catalogue image
1. Unsealed, missing middle finger from main right hand, the sword from top right hand and chips to the tips of three other fingers. Small chips alone the base of figure. The stand in good general condition.
2. Re-sealed, in good general condition, small chips along the base of figure. The stand in good general condition with some chips to the tips of lappets.
